ATI vs. NVIDIA

Just curious. I just got my DSL line installed today. Would the known ATI and NVIDIA people want to play some CS, Q3A or UT against each other sometime? Just to see if that supposed ATI visual quality actually helps you when playing against others.

LOL...nevermind Oldfart,so am I,anyway I still play UT,Q3 TA(demo) on my 56k modem.

Image quality naturally helps you can differenciate people at a distance with ease. However I prefer to turn up resolution specially in CS

I pretty much bought my system so I could get almost 150 fps at 1024x768 with 16 bit color and full textures on.. lightmap lighting too. every fps helps esp. when the games get crowded with people on huge maps. Even though my fps average is about 145 on demo001 i still dip into the 40's when the action is hardcore.. so the more fps the better!!

SO WHEN'S THE GAME!!??

hehe a lot of people have awesome systems but suck in the games...I know people with the crappiest systems but they own at 640x480 res

anyways, I'm game...gotta represent ATI in counterstrike
