The XClio is an excellent value. It's made by Channel Well (very respectable), uses a 120mm fan so its quiet and moves a lot of air as well, and its very efficient for a PSU of its price and power output.

My last 3 computers have been nVidia chipset with ATI GPU. I'm very pleased with the results.

And to the OP, I wish my X800 Pro was a ViVo card so I could flash it. The extra pipes sure would come in handy.

looks like very thin metal. not very durable. looks good though. also seems to be made of steel, not aluminum.

Anything above 450 watts is a waste. Getting a 500 watt PS is like putting a big block engine into a medium sized truck, pointless and wasteful. With that setup, a 350-400 watt would be plentiful and "high" amperage on the 12v side of things isn't going to do any good other than boost your internet-ego and drain your budget. I've been running a 350watt PS for 3 years now with no power problems or failures. Still going strong.

x800xl > 6800gt

However I've always prefered ATI above Nvidia

this comes straight from dfi. they recommend a 480watt psu with native 24 pin. ive seen people come to dfi forums with less then whats required and alot of times notice i said alot not always its they didnt buy the right psu. if you have questions about dfi boards please head on over to dfi-street.com they can recommend memory and power supply or any other questions you might have good luck.

You also must not be running the Lanpart nforce Ultra-D because you need at least 480w

Negative!

I say XL>GT too.

Get a quality 24 PIN PSU.

Please do so, the XL gets its power from the last 4 pins because it uses no molex connecter.

Even if your using a video card with a molex, I'd stil get a 24 pin/.

Whats the power draw on the board itself?
