ATI vs NVIDIA

I'm looking to turn my pc into an entertainment center. In order to do that, I know I must have an excellent, video card......... one that preferably allows me to watch television as well as play games and view digital photos. Now I know all about the ATI all-in-wonder series, but what about nvidia - Do they have a line geared towards television? If so, which would you recommend?

Wow...I never thought I'd see this happen. There's a first time for everything. 😉

You might want to change the topic to "what is the best multimedia video card with a built-in TV tuner?"...seriously...unless you have a flamesuit with a 5 hour fire resistance rating.

You might also want to consider purchasing a seperate TV tuner so that you can keep it when your videocard goes obsolete in 6 months.

lol, this in the CPU forum??? Either way I would look into a seperate tuner card. The AIW and nv's media card are alright but seperate cards are much better IMO
