Just wondering if anyone has gotten the ATI Tv Wonder PCI to work in windows 2000. They State the beta drivers will be out in Sept but I didnt count on it.

tv wonder does not work in win2k...i sold mine a looong time ago as i expected ATI to drop the ball on win2k support. So far they are living up to my expectations. unfortunatly.

I don't know about the TV Wonder, but they claim to have shipping full win2k support with the Radeon VIVO and AIW cards.

The problem is that the Tv Wonder, while popular, is based on the older type of vivo that ATI used on the earlier cards. The All-in-wonder 128Pro and everything after uses different a different VIVO and the Rage Theatre chip. So the 2000 drivers for the tv wonder i assume are waay on the backburner. Which is lame casue thats the one reason i went back to 98.

Join the club. A bunch of us are emailing ATI everyday to get them making us TV drivers. All we need is 100 people doing it a day, everday, and they have to get the hint. 🙂

Damn, I paid ~$70.00 for this dang thing and only got to use it a few months with Win98Se before moving on to W2k.
Ati's product driver support/development sucks, thats why I just invested in a voodoo rather then the Radeon.
Too bad too, I really like Ati's products.

I still want to buy one!! Anyone! If you want to dump your perfect-condition doesn't-work-in-Windows-2000 TV Wonder, I offer $40 shipped to Canada!

They are really working on them but are moving at a snails pace. I think they are still running closed beta tests on machines with Direct X 8.0 and wont release them untill the release of direct x 8 in Nov
