ATI tv software buggy?

I have a tv wonder card that doesn't recognize the cable input except immediately after the software has been installed...

Once the system reboots, it reads Video In instead of Television.

ATI addressed this issue here

Does anyone know of alternate software I could use to run the tv on this card?
I don't know if the problem lies in the drivers or just the application software.

Try these special drivers from Lightspeed here:

ATI TV-Wonder CD13 drivers & MMC 6.2

They are supposed to fix several problems with this card.

it's a bit buggy in 2k also. sometime i can't get a video signal after 2k has been running for a while (audio always works though). rebooting usually fixes it.

I tried the drivers at Lightspeed...

Now when I try to configure the television, it doesn't recognize any cable channels. So the television doesn't work at all, not even immediately after the driver is installed.

I am running 98se, any other ideas??
