:D Seems aTI is offering the trade in deal, send in your old vga cards and get new 9800 Pro for $249 :)

Text Pretty good deal, I've been looking for the last AGP card upgrade. I heard some where before that aTI had stopped the service. Good to see it's back :)

lets see

ALL-IN-WONDER 9800 PRO 128MB AGP
$349.00 USD
RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB AGP
$249.00 USD

hmm, for $50 less i can get the same 9800 pro from crapusa or newegg and still get to keep my old card, hmm, same goes for the AIW and oh! i dont have to pay for the shipping to send my old card either!

actually "crapusa" is going to cost you 300$, but you can get a retail ati shiped free from newegg for 270$. considering you have to pay shiping on both cards with ati, newegg probably comes out cheaper and you get to keep your old card.

Yeah once you factor in shipping it is not worth it. I got my 9800 Pro for $239 from microcenter last christmas, I am not sure if they are still selling them at that price.

But that $215 is like for a Saphire or other brands (yes I know some are made by aTi) but I'd rather get a real aTI Retail 9800Pro and send in my 1 MB Diamond PCI card

No so bad afterall bad :) (Plus they send the new card before you send in the old one :D )

so you would rather spend another $35 and get the exact same product? strange...

EDIT: they changed the price for $249 to $199

now its a good deal

I think you will just end up paying more money if you buy direct from ATI.

Try here

Sapphire makes BBATI cards by the way. Only difference is you get only a 1 year warranty with the Sapphire as opposed to a 3 year ATI.
Go figure.

Hope this helps.

so why not go to neweeg and pay 270$ shiped for a real retail ati which is cheaper than the trade in program's 250$ + shipping two cards?

This seems like a very hot deal. I send them a dust-covered 2mb Trident videocard and they send me a 9800Pro for $199.99 plus $15 shipping.

I would go for it but I went for the CompUSA deal(thru BB with a pricematch) at $199 already.

oh wow it is down to 199$ with trade in now, that is a hell of a nice deal for a retail ati 9800pro.

So whats the final verdict? I want to get one of these cards. People are selling them used for 200, I can get one from ATI for 200 +all the shipping jazz and I can get one from new egg for 228. hmmm.... seems like newegg wins. Agreed?
