ATI Tool simple question

Hi, just got my video card and I want to OC it. I installed ATI Tool and I saw default @ 400/300 . So does that mean my memory speed is 300 or do i need to time 2 =600? I want to make sure to check with you guys first before I OC it. This is going to bemy first time OC video card. So nervous. Thanks for the help.

BTW, my card is 9550.
 
Since your memory is DDR "Double Data Rate", its real speed is 600Mhz.
By the way, I heard that the 9550 is a great overclocker, try using the "find Max core/memory speed" command first, then manually overclock until you start seeing artifacts on your screen.
