I am still waiting for the source of the quote about ATI's alleged PCI-E to AGP bridge.
Again, I am not buying a card with an AGP to PCI-E bridge, period.
ATI?s RADEON X-series visual processors use a full, native 16-lane PCI Express bus interconnect to transfer data between the VPU and CPU in both directions simultaneously.
No bridge mentioned. When ATI changes this, I'll worry about it.
And you have every right not to. Question is, how do you know your not buying a bridged chip. Do you believe everything your told?
