Yeah assuming they get their driver deparment to produce a decent driver set.

I'd like to buy a Radeon 2 w/ TV-out.

Likely 64Mb possible a 128MB version.

I don't much care for TV-in, I have a TV-tuner
But TV-out would be nice for DVDs.

What kind of Cobra are you saving your pennies for?
The snake or the car?
What year?

Cobra's = ewww. Get something with some real power. A Trans Am or SS would fit that nicely. The new Mustangs = ugly. I've already beat 2 cobra's with my $15k 96 Formula.

ehh, like Ford's any better... although the 2002 Cobra is suppose to actually perform quite well... by that I mean, actually turn in times that represent its 320bhp engine... 0-60 ~4.8s i believe I saw...

Me as well.

Started with the Rage 128 AIW 16MB PCI, then got the Radeon AIW 32MB AGP.

Now I have an idea of what the next will be.

The real question now is, which will perform better? An ASUS nForce mobo with a GF3 or an ASUS nForce mobo with a Radeon2? I have no doubt nVidia will give themselves some sort of advantage.

That would really suck...but I'm sure that they would have decent support for radeon2 cards. THey better!!!! When is radeon 2 suppossed to come out neways? And how does everyone know that those smartshaders are gonna be in r200, and not r300??? Maybe radeon2 will be a gf3 killer...maybe not

I don't think that Radeon 2 will be a GF3 killer (speed wise not image quality wise) but it should keep up with it and offer some great technology (truform &amp; SmartShader) as well as the programable GPU. Combine that with the great multimedia feature (tv-tuner, dvd, etc). and I think you have a winner.

Ditto, love my current AIW Radeon, but:

I want component video-out (already supported in the AIW Radeon but no hardware)

firewire ports - (per DV wonder)

Digital HDTV tuner - support for digital cable plus HDTV resolutions (already supported but see above)

64 mb of 3.5 ns DDR video memory (I can dream)

Full dx8.1 support.
