ATI sale at Newegg! I'm talking HUGE ASS SAVINGS!

Well, I'm sorry it isn't free but hey! Its pretty damn hard to get a CrossFire card, right gersson?

Also, is it alright if I put the word "ass" in place of the word "arse" so I can attract more people to this deal? (Oh, too bad, I'm gonna do it!)

I also think that AnandtechDeals should have posted this deal up, since it's part of newegg!

HUGE SAVINGS.... on an originally artificially overpriced video card in the first place 🙂

bingo, this is "hot" my arse. prices are getting slashed because they're sitting in the newegg warehouse for too long because nobody wants to buy them.

the x1900crossfire was a hair better then the 7800gtx...

regardless if you like the ATI brand or not, these prices are relatively hot. some people are willing to pay $400+ for a card that NVDA matches for less, but now they can get it for $300-, which is a good deal in my eyes.

i'm stuck on AGP, so i'll just sit on the sidelines for video cards for awhile though 🙂

Wish I had PCI-X too, because 40 bucks different between X800 and the X1900 AIW, but since I'm stuck on AGP...

Oh well...there is always the lottery!

Damn, those are huge savings! Especially one the X800XT AIW! And OMFG, a X1900 CrossFire card for $400!??! :Q

Cheers!

Just out of curiousity, whats the difference between the x1900 at newegg and the x1900 at MWave? I did a little searching and found this page...

Whoops! Didn't know mwave has a cheaper one. Oh well. At least newegg finally lowered their prices today.

No difference. They are both the same card, which is a BBA (Built-BY-ATI) X1900 CrossFire Edition. Look at the "Manufacturer" (ATI) part number (100-435721), it is the same listed on both the Newegg and MWAVE sites.

bull fn shiet its way better than a 7800gtx
have you had both cards cause i have
for example 3dmark05 with 78gtx best i could do was slightly over 9000 and with those settins i had bad artifacts best with stable settings was around 8600
now with the x1900 cf ed card i scored over 12000 absolutley no artifacts

so basically it sounds like your saying that the ati overclocks better then the nvidia, he was talking about stock speed.

the X1900XT (and the X-fire edition) at stock speeds both slaughter the 7800GTX (which is essentially the same speed as a 7900GT, which needs a massive overclock to reach the X1900XT).

I'm not a fan of either card....but if you're getting either card to brag about 3dMark05, which I thought favored ATI anyway, then you have too much $$ to play with. Come back with some BF2, Oblivion, etc..... results and compare the two. I pay little stock to anything other than gaming performance, which is why I pay money for the cards in the first place.

Don't take it personally.....I think that basing performance of gaming cards on 3dMark is silly. Sort of like basing the handling performance of a sports car on a straight away.

The X1900's prices are being slashed because the X1950 will launch three weeks from now. I expect prices might come down even more in that time frame.

that and the fact that 7900gt's are nearing $220 and the x1900 ARGUABLY is better. I rather shell out $220 than $400
