I was using my old geforce 2 mx200 at 1152x864 at 75Hertz which doesn't hurt my eyes compared to my ati radeon 9700proAIW at the same resolution. What's with that?
 
Increase the resolution?
Are you sure it's actually working at 75Hz? I would recommend 85Hz minimum for sure ease on the eyes.
