ATI Rage 128 Xpert PCI VS Diamond Stealth 3 S540 AGP

Someone gave me these 2 cards for free. Anyone have any experience with em?

I've got an ATI rage Xpert 128 PCI. It runs my third monitor in my triple monitor setup. Works fine, never any problems.

What exactly do you wish to know?

I had a diamond stealth 3 s540...I think it was a pretty good card....when I first got it...I loved it....but later on...with lack of any good drivers...the thing made me want to break it into peices...

I was just getting some opinions on these cards. I was trying to decide what card to use in a second system. But I think Ive made my mind up on the ATI. I was getting like 10 fps with the stealth 3 in CS in win xp. Diamond hasent even put out XP drivers yet....screw that card. I get about an average of 20fps with the ATI in CS.

There's a good reason why Diamond havn't released any XP drivers, Diamond were bought out by S3 who changed their name to Sonic Blue, went bankrupt and got bought out by VIA.

Keep the Rage and ditch the worthless S3!
