I assume that new accounts may have to state a tax id. Maybe thats the deal. Luckily I have a biz account and thankfully I have a video card in the mail! 😀

Thanks for the deal.

if any1 of u has a 25% off accessories coupon for dell biz can you send me it cause i need a new vid card and will jump on this if i get the coupon.

I just bought this yesterday with my 25%, but didn't know about the 5% off. I didn't really look too hard because the 25% coupon code said it wasn't combinable with other offers, so I figured it wouldn't stack.

Did someone use both coupons and it worked? If so I'll be pissed I lost $20!

Oh, and for business name I just put a dash and it worked.

You officially need a TAX ID (mostly used by businesses) to setup a business account on dell.com... this won't work for individuals without a TAX ID.

what about sole proprietorships d/b/a some business? the tax id is the person's social security number, iirc.

Yes it is... the other federal identifier is a EIN - EMPLOYER Identification Number. You can most definitely be a company without being an employer - as any consultant. I have an EIN, but never use it, I know for a fact that Dell never required it as I'd have to go look it up (it's 72-something...)

There are states that have #s for sales tax purposes. Dell never asked me for those either.

Looks like 50 people applied for the $10 PriceGrabber review rebate already, so it's gone.

If I wasn't leaving the country for 3 months this summer, I would've picked one of these up. It was hard enough to resist as is 😛

By the time you come back we will be looking for deals on x2000xt(x) and 8000GT(X).

I'm sooo tempted. Why oh why didn't I pull the trigger yesterday when the 5% was still good. Me and my damn indecisiveness.

BTW if anyone has an extra thingiemabob they don't mind giving out, I'd appreciate a PM with it. I'll pass it along if I don't use it.
