ATI Radeon Question

Sorry about the first post. My question deals with a game I am playing, Freespace 2. It came out in 1999 and is a sweet space combat sim. Anyway, I am playing it on my retail Radeon 64 MB VIVO with a 1.4 GHz processor in a ECS k7s5a motherboard and the game suffers serious slowdown when the action gets heavy. I have the detail turned all the way up, but I would think a system like mine would be able to handle it. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Initial reviews of the game said that with a 32 MB card you would be able to play this game at the highest settings. Thanks.
