Is that at typo or something? The 9800pro is suppose to be 256-bit. Weird.

Newegg has a 9800pro for $172.

It's listed as:

Even if it is 128bit memory. It should be faster than the 9600. Since it has 8 pipelines. The 9600 has 4.

But, I guess, the memory interface can only move so much data. So, if the memory bandwidth is full from 4 pipelines(don't know if it or not), 8 pipelines will not increase the performance at all. But hopefully the memory speed is increased to be able to get a good benefit from the 8 pipeline core. I would like to see a review of the card.
