Hey all, I've been out of the pc gaming loop for 3 years and now I want to dive back in! I've been curious about one thing though...my current comp is a Gateway GT5662 (specs are in my sig) and I was wondering if my motherboard can fit a 4890 in there!
This is what I'm eyeing right now: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-299-_-Product

Here's a pic of the mobo (sorry if it isn't quality stuff, it was from my camera phone):

Thanks for any input!

To me it looks like it will fit. If not just notch the harddrive cage. Just make sure it will clear the Northbridge heatsink. The 4890 is 10.5 inches long and double slotted. So get out a tape measure and see.

Hmm, I'm going to be replacing the power supply since the default one I have is weak at 300W. Where do I look for the pin connectors? I'm going to measure this shiznits out. I appreciate the input!

It requires 2 6 pins. Says so on the HIS website. I think it comes with some kind of adapter for the 8 pin.

Yes it will come with a Molex adapter like every other GPU. Just make sure you have more than 30+A on a 12v rail.

It also says that card is exactly 10"
