No idea, the price on the site is still 229.99. price at the store might actually have changed, but not sure.

OT: To the people who bought this card and flashed it to a 9800XT, what was the chip type? R350 or R360? ATItool shows R350 for my card which means it isn't flashable to 9800XT since it uses a R360 correct?

Didn't know there was a sw tool that shows the core?

I had to physically remove the HS & look @ my chip.

And yes the R360 is the one that is flashable.

my experience with the $50 off when you open the CC...I got a $100 rebate in the mail instead. Was worth it for me when I bought the Epson R200 Photo printer for $80.

Not sure if this is an R360 core (flashable) but the ad says it is a 128 MB card while the MC card is 256MB.

Up to you to decide what you want for video memory.

Good Luck!

Yeah, the tool is found here. Click on settings

Thank you for the link. :)

Is there a similar progy for Nvidia Cards as well?

fightinfilipino I bought this card from newegg @ $225.50 shipped a while back. They've had it @ this sale price once since then. This card is definitely flashable. I'm @ 9800 XT speeds with VGA Artic Cooler in place of the stock GPU/HS.

I've got the non-pro as well, also from newegg. I think I paid $200 a while back. I was also able to run at pro speeds.

Also as was mentioned by another member, there is no need to flash the regular 9800 non-pro card as you gain nothing special over a regular manual 'oc. :D

Great card BTW! :)
