Last week, they were available, ever so briefly, for $145.00 - shipped. A little patience and a lot of luck may work for you.
BTW, with an AMD 1600 and an ECS K7S5A motherboard, the ATI 8500 benchmarked 7200+ with MadOnion 2001.
Not bad for out of the box.

Not in stock- I would jump on this one if it is. This and a little good cooling like the Radeon cooling kit from 2cooltek and I would be all set :)

:| Got one for $145 last time and it came with problems, Had to RMA the same I got it. For $175, you might as well get the OEM.

Well, it ain't last week now is it, and last week, they didn't have the newer drivers ready? BTW, they're back up at Newegg, but don't know for how long.

The OEM chips run at a slower speed don't they? ... 250/250? ... If you're asking about the 250/240 speed perhaps it is a typo.
Retail runs at 275/275.

not to sound like an ass,
but if you guys don't buy them at 175 so quick,
Newegg will start lower the price back down.
look at the R7500 in the place, it was 120 now @ 105.
don't let them make so much money from refurbished products

199-175=only 24 difference from a new oem.
