ATI Radeon 7500 & HydraVision. Your comments?

Any issues with this card?

If I'll buy this card, I'll use it mostly for 2D-applications, some CAD/OpenGL-stuff and an occasional game.

Is there anyone here who has used both the multi-monitor cards of Maxtor and HydraVision? Which one is the better one in your opinion?

Any other comments? 🙂

I'm interested as well. I'm looking into getting a multi-monitor card for my server, one that has decent gaming performance. Any suggestions?

Ti4600/4400
G450/G550
Radeon8500/7500

Take your pick. All of them do OK, but only the G550/Ti4600/Ti4400 support dual LCD!

The Matrox cards do not have very good 3D-performance. The nVidia cards are overpriced.

Seems like ATI is the only choice 🙂

The guy that lives across the hall was using a Radeon to run his Dual monitors. It was quite nice, had a great interface to help with any configuration you can think of with the 2 monitors.

I have a 7500, but i don't use it with two monitors. The only issue i've encountered is with Counterstrike
and the ATI overflow issue, but they have a patch out for that. Other than that, I'm playing games such as RTCW
at 1280X768 with all graphics and sound options maxed and it runs good; I have yet to see a noticeable drop in
framerates at any time in the game. I'm running it with an AMD 1600+ and
a kx-266a mobo with 256megs of ram.

The 2-D is excellent, i upgraded from a V-3 3500 and the 2d is much better.

That's good news, since I'm using a Voodoo III 3000 now.
