Ati radeon 4890 Overclocked to 1.35 Ghz

I saw one at 1466mhz, but cant find the screenshot now...Makes me wonder what the 40nm high-end will do. Btw, this is done on LN2 cooling. The highest air cooled overclocks are usually in the 1000-1100mhz range (and sometimes requiring increased vgpu). Just for kicks - check it out:

It's obviously a misreading thermal sensor, which is to be expected. These parts aren't made to run LN2 cooled at -50C.

Careful with that, autotune might clock it too high.

Its perfectly stable in WoW, COD5, HL2, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, so it's not too high for stability as far as I'm concerned

I do not think he is talking about damage, just that the thermal sensor is a bit out of its expected operating range 😛
