I guess the $299.99 deal at Fry's won't do you any good ... that price is offered in their stores and not online ... and you are quite a bit away from the nearest Fry's. @ $318 ... that really is a good deal!

Free FedEx shipping too. This is a pretty good price. Plus it is a retail ATI Box and Card Not like the crap you get at frys. Yeah... I live about an hours drive. 2 hours round trip. But, personally, I'd spend the extra 20 bucks for an ATI card then trying for an OEM with who knows how long the fan will last on that. I'll never buy memory @ frys again. They just plain suck. Some things are woth buying at frys on sale like cases or MotherBoards and Hard Drives. Just the generic OEM stuff stay away! FAR AWAY!

How are you guys able to do the pricematch with Staples? I tried it already (via their website) and gave all the required information. I received an e-mail back later that day that said that Staples could not pricematch because the item is not in stock (it's special order). What am I doing different than you are?

Thanks

According to Staples policy, the after-coupon price would be used for the final pricematch. Any truth?

You bet... staples probably place a couple of thousands of orders at their site to drive up the price

I tried to pricematch Staples to computersoftwareplus.com and they said they wouldn't because they're not an "authorized reseller". I'd like to know how they make that determination, but I'm sure it's mainly they just don't want to pricematch this item.

tstrike - what time of day did you do the pricematch? I tried mine late at night and they made me wait until the next day to "check with corporate" so they could deny me.

Like many of the deals that are out there - YMMV
