ATI mobo's drivers?

I bought an Abit at8 32x for my next crossfire system. My first ati board. However the motherboard cd and ati's website dont have any drivers listed.

My thinking is that VIA and nvidia both have drivers for their North/South Bridges.

Just curious as to why?
 
You should have drivers on the CD for the ULi southbridge.
My understanding is that the northbridge doesn't need any special drivers but afaik they are in the Catalyst if required.
