ATI Mobility chips

I wanted an IBM A20P notebook because of the ATI rage 128 16mb mobility AGP card. They have been back ordered twice now and I need that notebook badly. So I ordered a Dell with the 8 mb ATI AGP video card.
So, I question is, can I upgrade to the 16 mb ATI rage 128 card? And if so, where would I buy a mobile video card?
It sounds to me that I could open up the laptop and swap cards from the AGP slot, but I don't know much about laptops.

You won't be able to upgrade. And the Mobility 128 is much better than the "normal" mobility. It's not just a matter of 8MB vs. 16MB, it's speed, features, and image quality.

Not even since it's mini AGP? It's not a mini AGP slot inside the laptop that you can pop cards in and out? DAMN!!!
