ATI Mobile Radeon 7500 - 16 MB good enough?

For quite some time, I've been looking for a laptop which would be thin and light plus have the capabilities to play 3D games. I've finally found that Sony will be launching a model which is a P4, thin and light and also have the Radeon 7500. However, the memory is only 16MB. I don't play 3D games a lot but I couldn't even get a game like Max Payne to work on my old laptop (w/ the intel graphic chip). How much performance am I losing with only 16MB? I have a P3 desktop with a GForce 256 and that still suits my needs at home. Am I looking at performance above or below that? Thanks.
