ATI MMC TV App Closes If Change Channel

Starting with (i think...) 9.03, MMC will start on the composite input, then when i cycle through to the tv tuner, it'll all work, until i change channels. the tv app will close without any error messages, but the audio will still run in the background. this isn't a known problem, is it? i checked around a bit. thanks!
