I don't know how much room there is between the XT and the Pro though. The X800Pro is already pretty close to the GT, winning, some, tying some, losing some. It seems to me a 16 piped X800 at 425 will only be marginally faster in some situations then the 12 piper and might even be slower in some situations. X800 Pro is a strong card, IMO ATI should just drop the price on it a bit to undercut the GT.

This would be good news. I wonder what NV would do in response. Someone has to stop releasing chips and start pricing accordingly to compete sometime.
