That's interesting. What is Xian's real name? Sounds like the French website didn't know where the log came from, I wonder how legit it is...?

The demo is out, I've seen it. You need a VERY beefy box and over a gig of ram to run it smoothly. If not, it'll chug. The polygon count in that game is amazing -- truly next generation things.

I have a friend whos downloaded it, he says its sweet and u dont need 1 gig of RAM to run it smooth, he only has 512 and says it runs quite nice, on his 1700+ and GF3 (granted only at 640x480)

It's not a demo, it's not even a beta,it's an ALPHA build and running very slow because of that.

I dont think you can judge how the final product will perform by this very early alpha build.

Btw it's very ram hungry & my 8500LE barely gets 15-30 fps .

The supposed screenshots I saw of it were running in a window, at like 16fps. Didn't look all that great, I'd much rather wait for the finished product like with ut2k3

I was very impressed by the lighting, and the texturing was very nice also.
The polygon counts werent as high as I might have expected though.

Just my brief impression from a few minutes watching smeone on it.
