ati hsf compatibility

Just wanted to ask if the mounting holes for the 9500/9600/9700/9800 were all the same (specifically between the 9600 and 9800). I'm trying to sell a DD gpu water block that fits on my 9800pro to a guy that has a 9600 AIW. The AIW may effect the mounting as well. If anyone knows anything, I'd appreciate the input. Thanks.

Depends on manufacturer.

I've got three 9600's in front/nearby, and two 9800's.

9800's have different mounting. Two 9600's have identical mounting, the other has different.

Well then...that sucks for me LOL. First off, I can't believe that you have 5 good video cards 😀. Secondly, I can't believe that the 9800's have different mountings. Is one an AIW and the other not? Do you mean they have different hole to hole distances?

Goten: Actually, only 1 is mine. Rest are for clients.

No, it's not an AIW. I'll have to find out what brand it is, but the mounting is physically different.

Oh, hehe...I was wondering what you were doing with so many vid cards. Well I asked the other guy to measure the hole to hole distance on his 9600 but he doesn't know when he'll have the time to remove/install the hsf.

Anyone else?
