I got it, but a deal with no item #, no dates, no in-store or online designation, no mention of shipping or tax, no link, and use of initials to designate a store that is not available in 37 states is hardly a deal that "says it all."

I would recommend that you don't buy this card. Check out the reviews and forum posts on it, the card is basically junk.

Mines not junk. $150 is a good deal if you can receive OTA HD broadcasts.

If you want a good hdtv card, I have had pretty good luck with the MIT MD-120

The software's a little buggy, but it works ok. The hardware output is fantastic to look at.

and it's got a dvi-d daughtercard you can get.

check out avsforums... they've got some long threads about it.

I use both the MyHD (have used it for nearly 2 years now) and HDTV Wonder, and with my HDTV Wonder in MCE 2005, IMHO, it is the superior HDTV solution in my setups. MCE just puts it way over the top with real PVR functionality and a seemless EPG that handles both analog and digital channels.

The MyHD card does have some features that set it apart however, it can output directly to your HDTV display using YPbPr or VGA (DVI with a daughter card) HDTV Wonder relies on your graphcs card for output (I use my AIW 9700pro's YPbPr output,it works great) MyHD is a hardware card so it uses few CPU cycles and captures the native transport streams to your hardrive, HDTV Wonder captures to the proprietary dvr-ms format in MCE and ATI's VCR format in MMC (which can be transcoded easily to full HD resolution MPEG-2 from the library app)

You can get HDTV Wonder + MCE 2005 for the ~price of the MyHD card.

Excellent. Just get a decent UHF antenna and point it towards San Francisco.
Channel Master 4228 works well, and we get a ton of channels in digital.

Looking at this in an unbiased way, I do see that the title and the first post hardly conveys any information at all. And if the OP realized this, he/she would have fixed the title by now ...

Not trying to thread crap ... the information is definitely good ... just that without further explanation there is hardly enough info to go by.
