I hooked up my computer to my HDTV but I am having issues getting it to work on it's own.

I can get it to work but I have to go into the Catalyst Control Panel and mess around with the settings. It's a little tricky but it eventually works.

The problem is when I try and run the computer off the HDTV alone, it doesn't work. I have to boot up with the monitor hooked up, and mess with the settings to get it to display on the TV.

How do I get the HDTV to become the default display and run like a regular monitor?
 
Right click desktop > Properties > "settings" tab > and there's a check box for "Use this device as my primary monitor." Just remember to select you HDTV and then check the box.
