ATI Hardware Physics Demo

Pretty cool though. If i understand correctly they CrossFire the X1900's and use the X1600 like an Ageia PhysX card. Neat.

3rd party cooling device, the noise level in my case has to be lower than average. I turn up the music and sound fx to everything. even then, you gotta admit that whining fans are not my thing. underclocked video card too.
3rd party solutions replacing stock. 4th party - hacked solutions modded to liking.

besides, the last game I played was graw, and the frame rates are max at 1280x1024, but I quit 'cuz I am starting to suck at video games. I'm even dying in starcraft a lot more, lol
 
why has'nt ati done more on this.
like released beta drivers or something ?
if a x1600/x1300 class gpu can be used to accelerate the physics (havok engine no less) it'll make the cpu virtually useless to gaming.
 
Lol, this is pretty damn old. Back at Computex, they showed this and it was QUITE a damn while ago.

its because he's probably bsing his sig. he's fire400 has been notorious for making up hardware in his sig that he doesn't really have and has never shown a picture of his pc (or any pc) with the hardware in his signature.

Yeah, we've known that the X19k series can surpass other exploits besides game for months now. It's just a very powerful GPU altogether. I just wish either Nvidia could hire ATI "hardware team" or ATI hire Nvidia's "software team" because the latest drivers from ATI are pretty much horrid.

CPU, but I think you should of said wrong Hyper Transport notification, but correct MHz? Yes, the A60 can achieve 2000 MHz of effective hyper transport. You must be referring to the 940 series, check up on the AMD.com website one more time and tell me I'm wrong about the s939 A60, and say it correctly?

The XTX card is a GDDR3 memory graphics card, why would you say GDDR1 exists on an XTX, it's got a number 3 behind it. 3rd party equipment allows you to adjust fan speeds if lower temperatures are present, signficantly in fact.

You can achieve 2-2-2-3 with DDR400 speeds, many downclock it, but there is a trick to keeping it stable. Do the research on how RAM works, and you might learn something.

Optical drives? I can put as many optical drives in my system as I want, upto the maximum space I have available for bays, to how many ports I can connect them to, onboard or daughter card specific for optical technology.

What motherboard do you have in there again? I didn't know they made the A8N32-SLI Deluxe in green, and if it is, why in the blue hell would you change the heatpipe cooler on the chipset? That sound card also looks suspiciously like the Audigy2 ZS.

EDIT: Oh, your heatsink only fits on S478 P4s and Celerons, how did you manage to get that sucker to fit?
EDIT2: Nice Britney Spears pic in the corner of the case, still want to claim this one as yours?

You are as stupid as everyone else. It's an X-fi card. Are you telling me that it is impossible to adjust 478 coolers to fit on 939 sockets?

What about pictures? Anyone can mod their case anyway they'd like. Spears or Backstreet Boys or DJ Sammy, who cares.
 
Ok I've read this thread and its so strange I cant help but comment.

If that PC is yours, great.. but I get the feeling its your sisters or soemthing because I dont know any normal guys who'd put flowers, britney, and that pretty looking ATI Radeon text on their case?

Seriously, if you like Britney Spears music thats awesome... but even if so I dont know a guy who'd put her picture on his case.. even jokingly.
Its kind of disturbing.. I could only see one of my friends that partake in "deviant behavior" do such things. If you are, thats great and at least is an acceptable answer. Most guys would at least hide their Spears listening habits.

I still like Michael Jacksons music, but that doenst mean I'm about to plaster his face on my rig!!
