ATI fan control?

I've been using ATITool for past 2 weeks and it got really annoying. Everytime I turn of my computer, fan speed settings reset to the default. Sometimes clock speeds adjust on their own, I don't know why. So now I'm looking to replace it with something. Maybe just a fan speed control software.
 
ATI Tool does sometimes behave dodgy, but there is a section in the options menu to make it switch to a given profile on startup.
