Ati Driver Problems

After installing a new set of ati drivers, my computer kept saying that it has recovered from a software-hardware deadlock, etc. So I reintsalled the drivers, and it seems like the rendering s all software now, not hardware. When I scroll down a web page it's very slow, and you can see itslef rendering the page. In the driver settings, I have it on full hardware acceleration, but it still doesn't work. I'm using an ATI 8500dv.

Try uninstalling the drivers and then uninstall with the utility Driver Cleaner. Then reinstall. Were you using 3.10s?
