ATI Component Adapter Question

so how do i get it all to work? i downloaded the software from ATI and installed it, and my MCE is up to date, any ideas?

Mine just pretty much worked. I played around with the dip switches a bit and then selected HDTV as the output device in the ati control program.

Just off the top of my head, I though the 8500 series used the VGA to component adapter... is that what you're using?

It's in the drivers. It says for me something like secondary dvi component in the catalysyt control center 5.13. you just have to click enable.

nope, im using the dvi to component, my card has a DVI output, i got it to work, but man the color and contrast suck, its weird, now MCE works just fine, before when i had my CRT hooked up, MCE wouldnt playback the videos and stuff, now it will. it still wont do the TV Tuner, but it works as a media center otherwise. FYI

thanx
