ATi's marketing department was concerned that people couldn't read all three letters in the old logo.

WTF???
Seems like that's becoming a trend, just look at the Centrino logo.
Damn, would suck to get a notebook with both the new ATi logo and the Centrino one, first thing I'd do would be to scrape them both off.

What is with that new PINK and blue Centrino logo? This effeminate logo looks more appropriate on a feminine hygiene product than on some computer product. I can?t help but think this logo is the product of some women at Intel who just don?t get it. Men don?t wear/use some of the more effeminate things/colors like women do. Give your young boy some pink pants or a dress and see if he?ll wear them to school. No problem for a young girl. Like men want a nice ? lovely little pink and blue heart ?. (I think I?m going to be nauseous) on their laptop. This is a complete insensitivity to the general tastes of men. Thank goodness these women were not designing the laptops ? ? pink laptops now ? how about pink and baby blue mouse?s for everyone.
I read somewhere that the logo, ? ?featuring a striking magenta color and a completely new shape,? ? suggests flight, mobility, and forward movement. My, such forward thinking, I suppose us men are to try and get in touch with our feminine side. It?s childish.
Well I say ? pathetic.
