ATI Catalyst Video Playback confusion

Hi all,

I use Media Player Classic. I have a 9600 Pro and dual screen (2405fpw + Sony 19" tube).

There is a full-screen resolution feature in MPC. When you goto fullscreen, it will resize the desktop. I'm trying to avoid cropping/zooming, so I'm changing the res so that its 1:1 with the video during fullscreen playback.

The problem is every time I goto fullscreen, it puts the video on the secondary monitor (my Sony) rather than the primary (my LCD). Is there any way to swap this or disable this feature? I could've sworn that with previous Catalyst drivers it would just fullscreen the video on whichever display you had the video playing back. Frustrating...

Note that I can't use the "Clone Mode options" in the Overlay tab because I'm in extended desktop. All of the options there are grayed out.

Mayhaps I am not understanding but there is a Player option to "launch files in fullscreen" and a Playback option to "change fullscreen resolution". 'twould seem the former will achieve the desired result since changing (reducing) the resolution on a fixed pixel display will either result in a small image size anyway or else scaling up by the panel rather than by than the graphics system. Note there are also various relevant MPC options under View -> Video Frame, such as Touch Window From Inside and Keep Aspect Ratio.
