Well their uninstalled on my g/f's PC once again.... She has to use the drivers that came with her card about a year old... because Cat 3.1 3.2 and 3.4 all cause issues with dark age of camelot.... missing patches of textures, random anomilies, and occasional crash.

Just a note for the AIW & Windows XP users.

If you've turned off Short Filenames ( tweak) then the install for RemoteWonder will not work (somewhere ATI is using short filenames for it's install).

I'm glad I don't play that game cause so far for everything else these drivers are mint! 🙂

I get occasional missing textures playing america's army. But flushing the cache by opening the console and putting in "flush" fixes it.

Just noticed this today, when a game gets interrupted and minimized (some alert or whatever), and you restore it the graphics aren't messed up. Under Cat 3.2 I would have needed to restart the program.

Fixed the binoculars in IGI 2 (very minor bug), but now Anarchy Online is finally shown with AA on the background objects as well. Nice 🙂
I really like it when they include a bug list when they update something. I've seen Hercules do this on their soundcards. Guess it shows their confidence in "this we fixed" contrasted with "here's some new drivers - you test them".

Ive gotta admit, its handy when they list the fixes, cos if you have a problem with one set, and the newest ones dont fix it, then theres no need to upgrade them is there? You can just stick with the ones that your running, less hassel that way.
