These are supposed to give a 10% increase of performance to the 9500 cards I hear because while making the drivers for the 9800 cards they discovered this. Anyone want to test this?

My Sapphire 9500 NP OEM ($158), is softmodded to a 9700 pro, OC'ed to 340/300, and has Soft9800 Applied.

It'd be great if they gave a nice performance boost as I'm getting an EPoX 8RDA+ and a Radeon 9500 Pro as soon as possible and then I'll try these out, if they aren't already out by then.

I hope that makes some sense.

"anyone know if this fixes the HL esc key bug?"

Typing "exit" in the console is a workaround for that bug. I used it anyhow since I used .hlla game launcher and it is the fastest way out of the game and into another server.

Official CAT 3.3's will be out the 29th I heard. I am useing these new drivers seem to be working well, increased my 3dmark03 about 100 points into the 4100's now woo hoo I was waiting to hit the 4 K barrier. BTW I have a 9500 pro.

These aren't compatible with the 9700 pro tho right?
I guess I can stick with my 3.1's for now.

It says I need to register for that site I have and I haven't received the confirmation email. How else can I get these drivers? Thanks in advanced.

from rage3d.com...

"We have encountered some minor difficulties in obtaining WHQL certification for drivers based on the 7.86 build version. At this time it seems that a fully unified CATALYST release may be postponed for a few weeks"
