Ati Card Release Chart

I dunno about anyone else but with the new cards that are comming out from ati, ie the 9800se/9200se its getting difficulty to keep track. So I did up a little chart to help sort out the confusion. I know ive left out the older 9700/9500 lines.

**This is from what is know and rumored. This is in no way 100% accurate as some of the cards haven't be officially released yet; But it is as accurate as I can find so far** All speed listings are Core/Memory. ??? indicate either no-one knows what speed or i cant find it.

High-End, Performance Mainstream:

RADEON 9800 PRO 256MB: 380/700MHz
RADEON 9800 PRO 128MB: 380/680MHz
RADEON 9800 128MB: 325/580(rumored) rest of spec same as 9800 Pro
RADEON 9800 SE: 128MB 128-bit Memory Bus ???/??? 4-rendering pipelines
RADEON 9800 SE: 128MB 256-bit Memory Bus 350/600 4-rendering pipelines

Performance Mainstream, Mainstream:

RADEON 9600 PRO: 400/600;
RADEON 9600 SE: ???/500-550;
RADEON 9600 PRO Lite Edition: 400/400MHz
RADEON 9600 : 325/400MHz

Mainstream, Value:

RADEON 9200 PRO: 275/550MHz
RADEON 9200 SE 200/333 64 or 128-bit memory bus;
RADEON 9200: 250/400MHz

Again this is probably not 100% accurate but its atleast a start. Feel free to post corrections and/or additions

I'm not so sure the 9800 SEs may end up deserving to be in a High-End category. With the 9800 non Pro and the 9800 SEs supposedly to offer 9600 performance, I'm not sure what to make of ATI's move with the 9800 SE, maybe its to replace the 9700/9700 Pro for what they offer today (ie when the 9000 "replaced" the 8500, or the 9600 the 9500)

i wish they didn't have so many different cards in each group, it was a lot simpler buying a video card a couple years ago when there was only 1 or 2 cards for each generation by each company.

Yeah Darknight, that is why i did up this chart 🙂

Also for rottie, i have stated that it might not be 100% accurate, and also some of the products ie 9800se/9200se have just been announced/going to be announced
