I'm sure that some of the recent driver issues can be blamed on the next wave of cards from the Red team. Most likely working silicone has been around for some time now. I'd think that AMD/ATI has been implementing driver support for the new cards which in turn could kinda fubar performance from the older ones. I'm wondering if maybe both the Red and Green team would be better off just ditching the one driver fits all way of life.

Sorry - but there is nothing recent about most of these issues. Most of them are years old.
I mean ... really? Drivers that don't work properly with HDMI connected displays/TVs? AHCI drivers WITHOUT TRIM support? In 2010? Are you kidding me?
That is BASIC FUNCTIONALITY!!!!!

I get the feeling they have a bunch of monkeys coding their drivers - THAT's how poorly they are done.
