Your 7/22/2006 10:06 PM post was the first piece of flamebait. Where in that post were you responding to my dry grass?
You may find it educational to listen to the companies conference calls on earnings and future direction sometime Josh. Also try listening to investor analysis of the two companies...
If there is anything that is worse than an AEG/HRC member, it is a member with investments in those companies. I really could care less about what any company is doing, as long as I get a product that gives me what I want. Whether it's ATI, Nvidia, Intel, S3, [whatever other company wants to try it] I don't care. It doesn't matter if they are losing stock, laughing their way to the bank, merging, buying other companies, etc. If a company can't provide me with an appropriate product, I won't buy from them. I don't see why as a consumer I need to be more involved with a company than that. Why do you care to look at the investor anaylsis of the two or listen to conference calls on earnings? (Pardon my bluntness but yank-yank) Who cares? Ultimately they want money, and the only way they are going to get it from me is if they keep emerging modern equipment that functions well for a good price.
