I've got a few questions about the AiW card I have.
First off, it won't install the TV tuner option when I load the mulitmedia center. The program is there, but the only connections I have are the S video and composite video inputs not TV tuner. There is also an exclamation mark next to the TV tuner icon in device manager. But I can't load my TV tuner drivers that came with the card on CD, the install keeps erroring out, on every machine I try. The new drivers don't seem to pertain directly to the 8500DV, and installing the new drivers isn't solving the problem either.
Can anyone help me fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Another question I have is how can I tell if my DVD play back is being decoded by my AiW card or if it's being decode by software? I'm using Windows Media Player to play back DVD's. I'm having choppy video play back, so I suspect it's being decode via software. Again not positive.
