ATI All-In-Wonder 9800?

Will a new model be released for the 9800? There's no mention of it on the ATI website, and I can't find any mention of it doing some searches.

Not anytime soon. I was on the support lines a few weeks ago and I asked him about the next AIW card. All he said was that for the past 3 years, ATI has released them towards the end of the year. I'm guessing they're not going to. Also, looking back at the others, there is only one AIW card for each new line of products. 1 for the 7xxx line, 1 for the 8xxx, and so far 1 for the 9xxxx line. Since they have no competition in this area because none of their competitors have a product anywhere near what the AIW is, don't expect anything major unless of-course, Nvidia does something about it, which I haven't heard about yet.

maybe you can just do a softmod to make the AIW 9700prointo a AIW 9800pro?

does anyone know if that even works? has anyone done it?
