Has anyone has experience in ATI All in wonder 9700 Pro? Is connecting a DVD player to it provide the same picture quality that we get from a TV or a projector?

Thanks

You don't want to hook a DVD player to it...you use the DVD ROM installed on your computer. Picture quality is excellent on your monitor or output to a TV or projector. Is that what you are asking?

Well, I am going to hook it to a LIVE video input by my camera crew. The LIVE video input has DVD quality.

Can it do a good job?

Looks as good as my Sony DVD player... but that's only using S-video. With the rca cable, it doesn't look as good. And mind you, i have a crappy DVD player too... it doesn't do progressive scan.

What kind of input is that? AIW 9700 has s-video and composite (rca)analog video inputs. It supports full resolution analog capture and real time encoding dependant on the codec/settings and the computers performance it is installed in. If you're talking DV, the AIW 9700 won't help you there.

Its a normal RCA cable input....

So would it look as good as connecting directly to the projector?

and do u know any external hardware that could do a good job? or any other internal hardware TV tuner
