Did you guys click the chipset info for the 64 meg version? It says the same thing! I'm bettiung they are going to just add the memory and that's it.

<< i really thought it would be correct at newegg >>

Well, it still could be. We'll find out when someone gets one, and lets us know for sure.

Is this really going to be worth an extra $100-150? I mean hasn't it been shown the 128mb card don't show much improvement over their 64mb counterparts?

its n0ot aboutb the 128 ram although it might help in video capture rendering?

but it is a vast improvement over the 190 mhz clock of the original if it is right

NewEgg always useds the chipset info for the top end card. Their 230/230 Radeon 8500LELE also claims to be 275/275. Their GF2 Ti-VX's claim to be full Ti's etc.

NewEgg's chipset information is never very accurate. They simply grab the info from the top end card of each model almost all the time.
My bets are that it's simply the stereotypical 190/230 AIW 8500DV we've already seen.

yes they said there was no plans to update the radeon 200 series at another forum (ati rep)but i was hoping too hard lol

So then the card is going to have better ram, and it's only the extra 64mb of ram, so is this still a big deal? I'm guessing no? I guess newegg here i come (once the new card is released and the prices drop, of course.) 😀
