for all those ati fans out there, my dad decided to upgrade his computer from win me to win2k. i have installed the ati drivers for the all in wonder pro 128 for win2k and when i go to change resolutions get an error message that says the device drivers returned an invalid response, or something like that. there have been a couple of times where the screen just goes black. any clues?
thanx for the help.

this is why i like nvidia.

I reccomend you uninstall the drivers through the Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.

Then reboot and use the standard VGA drivers on that 1st boot (you know, when it finds a new device). Reboot again and it may again find the new device (as it still does not have the proper drivers loaded) and at this point, install the Win2k drivers for the ATI AIW.

Hope that helps,

edblor - have done that several times, no luck

workin - i am using the brand spanking new drivers from the ati website
