ATI 9800 pro only running at 4x APG???

So I got my 9800 Pro today and got it running even with my cheap 350 watt PSU. I went to the SMARTGART tab in the control pannel and it says my current APG speed is only 4x. I know the card runs a 8x and I know my motherboard is capiable of 8x. Is there a setting in BIOS I need to change or something? It will make virtually no difference unless you are doing High End WOrstation/CAD work and stuff, then you MIGHT see a difference. However make sure you installed the M/B drivers before the Video Card Drivers.

Well that would be your BIOS. Im talking Chipset drivers. I believe i saw that was a Sis chipset.. so take a look on Sis's website for the drivers for your chipset.

Yes... the top one looks right. Make sure to uninstall your Video Card Drivers right now and then reinstall with new M/B drivers.

Ok thanks. Should I install the chipset drivers as well or just the ATA?

2. ATA (If not included in Chipset, and if you dont care)
3. Video Card Drivers

ok, just want to get this stright. I uninstall the video card drivers. Then restart, the install the chipset, then ATA, and then Video Card drivers?
