ATI 9700 Pro and MS flight sim+ other sims

Hi all
A friend and I are looking to up grade our video cards.
I use my rig for gaming and video editing. He uses his for flight sims.
Would anyone know how the ATI 9700 Pro 128Meg card stacks up against the GeForce 4 TI4600?
I heard that the 9700Pro has issues with flight sims.

We both have the Asus P4PE motherboards and P4 2.4gig cpu's.

High res with 6xAA and 16AF is where its at for flight sims. Combatsim3 seems to have the most problems of flight sims currently. I believe its a problem across the board reguardless of which video card is used. I have both cards and much prefer the Ati its just faster looks better and is more futrue proof. It might be wise to wait a month or so and consider the Gforce FX or what Ati has up its sleeve. Maybe they have additional features not yet enabled in the 9700 Pro.

The 9700 Pro should be faster in most flight sims (especially with the Catalyst 2.4s) but I have issues running CFS3 on mine (it hard locks). So right now the Ti4600 will be more compatible while the 9700 Pro will be faster.
