Hi, obiously All in Wonder has those TV tuner, video in for editing stuffs...

i want to know if they both perform the same speed.. ex.. same result in 3dmark , ut2k3?

or 9700 pro is slightly faster?

why i am asking is i believe that AIW will use slightly more power for video out so less power for calculating..

thanks.

same card with more featuers = 9700 AIW Pro

it should get the same FPS marks, but if you're worried about FPS and 3dmark scores you are buying the WRONG CARD as the 9700 AIW was made for VIVO, and capturing etc

Pretty sure the 9700pro and AIW 9700 perform nearly identically in every benchmark. I believe you are referring to how the 8500 AIW performed a bit lower than the 8500. I believe this was due to the 8500 AIW using a digital tuner, which was both unnecessary and drained some of the cards resources. They went back to a standard tuner for the 9700 though. Besides, 1 or 2 FPS when you're getting 200 doesn't make a whole lotta difference ;)

the 9700 AIW and the 9700 Pro have the exact same gaming performance since they are running at the same memory and core speeds with the same amount of RAM and identical cores.

the 8500dv performed less than the 8500 b/c of the dv port and digital tuner? The AIW8500 ran just the same. With the AIW cards the main diff is you can't run dual monitors.

just for the sake of staying on topic the 9700AIW will have the same perfomance if it is any lower it will be less than you can measure. This is the right card for you if you want a gaming card and a "light" video editing card. As far as the 8500DV and the 8500 retail. the DV ran at 50mhz less core and 90mhz less mem. That is why the problems with the speed. the 8500 AIW 128MB was just as fast if not faster than the 8500retail 64MB.
