Just flashed my 8500LE (3.3ns RAM) to 9100 275/275. 3Dmark scores are the same. Havent tried TV Out yet but I here some are having trouble with it.

Anyone else triy this flash yet? Any real benifits? So far it didn't seem worth it. I backed up my original BIOS just in case.. ;)

Flashed my retail 8500.

No performance gain, but now I have a brand-new 9100!

I got the flash program that able to force flash 52k 9100 bios into the 48K 8500 card.
However, before I flash I used Bios Editor 1.1D change its default Bios from 275/275 to 290/290.

After reboot, I reinstall the Cat3 driver. There isn't any improvement in 3Dmark, but it seems to has softer tone of image quality in UT2003.
